Questions? I Got You!

A typical session will take place at a location chosen beforehand with your animal's safety and comfort in mind. I’ll give them time to explore, get comfortable, and become familiar with me before we begin. We’ll work at your animal’s pace, allowing time for breaks, play, treats, and natural movement rather than forcing perfect poses. My goal is to create a fun, comfortable experience while capturing the personality you know and love.
-
No. Your animal does not need to be trained or know specific commands for a photography session. Safety is always my priority, but I don’t expect them to sit perfectly or pose on command. I’ll work with their comfort level and abilities, using patience and allowing them to move and interact naturally so their true personality can shine through.
-
Yes. For safety, animals that can be leashed or otherwise safely secured should remain on a leash or appropriately secured during the session while still being able to move and interact naturally. If needed, an assistant can help hold the leash so you can step out of the photograph or interact with your animal. Leashes can also be removed during editing when possible, or left visible if you prefer.
-
I personally edit all final photographs using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Editing may include adjustments to lighting, color, cropping, and distracting elements while keeping your animal looking natural and true to themselves. If you have a specific editing request, we can discuss it together.
-
I do not typically provide RAW or unedited files. Your final gallery will include photographs that I carefully select and professionally edit to reflect my photography style and quality.

Every animal has their own personality, comfort level, and needs, and I welcome them as they are. I have a special-needs pup at home, so I understand the importance of patience and giving animals the time and space they need. We can take breaks, slow down, or adjust the session as needed. If the session is causing your animal too much stress, we can stop and reschedule at no additional cost. Their well-being will always come before getting the photograph.
-
Yes! If your animals are comfortable together and can safely be photographed, I’m happy to include multiple animals in your session. Each animal will need to be included in the photography agreement so I can learn about them beforehand and plan for their individual needs. Whether we photograph them together, individually, or a little of both, my goal is to capture what makes each of them unique.

Your photographs will be professionally edited and delivered through a private online gallery, where you can select the photographs included with your package and purchase additional images if you’d like. Your expected delivery date will be discussed during the booking process.

Your location will be planned before the session based on what works best for your animal. I typically photograph on location, such as at a park, but I can also come to your home if that’s where your animal feels most comfortable. As long as the location is safe and appropriate, I’m happy to work with you to find the best setting.
